Why we started this
AI is moving into every part of how work and creativity get done. Most "AI for kids" content we looked at was either a passive video series or a generic coding course with an AI badge stuck on it. We wanted something different: a room where a child spends real hours actually building — with a mentor who has shipped real AI products sitting right next to them when they get stuck.
What we believe
Building beats watching
A child who has built one real, working AI project understands more than a child who has completed ten modules about AI theory.
Small groups, real attention
We cap every cohort at 15 kids so every child gets noticed, gets unstuck quickly, and isn't lost in a crowd.
Mentors who've actually done it
Our mentors aren't reading from a slide deck — they're engineers and IIT, IIIT, and BITS alumni who've built real products at companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple.
Real tools, not toy versions
Kids use the same category of tools professionals use — simplified for age 9 to 15, never dumbed down to the point of being fake.
In person, on purpose
AI moves fast. The best way to learn to direct it is to sit next to someone experienced while they show you how, not to pause a video and rewind it.
One real outcome
Not a certificate. Not a slideshow. A working AI project your child built with their own hands, in stages you can see happening.
Who this is for
AI Kids Lab is built for parents in Hyderabad who want their 9 to 15 year old to move from "curious about AI" to "has actually built something with it" — in a fully offline, small-group setting, over one focused cohort.
Admission
We keep cohorts to 15 seats and admit by a short discovery interview, not a first-come-first-served signup. It's a genuine conversation about your child's interests, not a sales call — and it helps us make sure every cohort is a good match for the kids in it.
